On its release, it topped the album charts in 19 countries and reached number 3 on the American album chart as well as winning Best Rock Album at the 2011 Grammy Awards. It also beat its predecessor, Black Holes and Revelations, in relative album sales. Includes the single Uprising, a UK top-10 hit, the fourth for the band.
